At Breadsall, children are at the centre of what we do. We believe we can only find out how children experience education at our school by talking to them and seeking their opinions and ideas on all aspects of their educational experience with us.
Respect Leaders are a group of pupils who apply to represent Breadsall. Perspectives leaders are required to apply for the position and are then offered an interview with the head teacher.
They will be expected to:
To lead by example, within the student body
To demonstrate independence, responsibility and reliability
To monitor the welfare of other students
To assist in the organisation of school activities and events
To be a good role model for others in the school by manner, dress, overall appearance and attitude to others
Leaders to set up projects on designated topics, i.e. school tidiness
to work to prevent and report bullying and discrimination as well as acting as friends and buddies for those who need support
to carry out other tasks and jobs as may be directed from time to time by staff
Guiding visitors around our school
